👯‍♂️ Week 1: Brand + Customer Clarity

The first step in creating a killer website is being clear on your branding and customer. Use our exercises and templates to create a clear picture of who you’re designing your website for.

📚 Week 2: Systems Set Up + Copywriting

Your website is a hub for your business – it should be collecting emails, gathering traffic data, and booking calls – we’ll walk you through what you need set up and how to do it. We’ll also dive deep into copywriting for your website (don’t worry, we’ll include plug-and-play templates to make the process painless!).

💻 Week 3: Customizing Your Website

Now it’s time to customize your website (that our tech team has already set up for you!) with your branding, systems, and copy. Our step-by-step tutorials will show you how.

🚀 Week 4 (Launch Week!): Blogging, SEO, and Client Attraction

In our final week, we’ll cover the super important steps you can be taking to drive more traffic to your website so you can start booking more clients. At the end of the week, you’ll be ready to launch your amazing new website for the world to see!

What if I despise technology, can I use this course?

Absolutely! We intentionally took some of the most tech-challenging tasks off your plate for our team to handle, so you can focus on writing your content and getting it up on your website (using a template we’ve already installed for you). We do recommend you set up some additional tools (like a scheduling tool and email list platform) to get the most out of your new website, but we give you some tips for doing that within the course. And of course, if you get stuck, you’ll have our Q&A calls and community to ask questions in, too!

Can I launch my site sooner than 1 month?
Sure! All of the course modules are available on-demand so you can watch them at your own pace. If you want to clear your schedule and get everything done on a different schedule, you can do that. The only thing to note is that it will take up to 5 days, from when you submit your initial business and brand info, for our team to install and set up your new site on WordPress. But during that time you can be watching trainings, writing your content, and pulling all of your info together so you’ll be ready to rock and roll once we give you access to your site!
Are the course modules live or can I watch them whenever I want? When does the course start?

All of the course modules are pre-recorded and can be watched at any time when the course officially starts. Our Q&A sessions will be live and are optional, and will be recorded if you’re not able to attend them. You’ll get more details on how to attend these once you enroll.

Do I own the site and all the content after it’s launched?

Yes! That’s the beauty of WordPress – it’s all yours. We’re giving you our page templates, stock photo library, content prompts, and other templates for you to use freely, forever.

Can I sign up if I already have a website?

Yes! If you already have a website on another platform (WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, etc.) and would like to redesign your site using our template, please note this when you book your call, and we can create a customized plan for helping you make the transition for an additional fee.

What is the cost of the course?

You have two payment options – one-time upfront cost of $3,000, or three monthly payments of $1,100/mo ($3,300 total). 

What theme/pagebuilder is used for the website?

We use the Divi Theme and Pagebuilder, with a custom Child Theme created specifically for The Dietitian Website System. The Divi pagebuilder is one of the most user-friendly, flexible website building tools out there, and we’ve successfully used it on dozens of RD sites. We provide access to this premium theme/pagebuilder to all course participants for free.

Can non-dietitians use this course?
While we’ve created this course with dietitian business owners in mind, we believe the concepts we have integrated into our templates and in our course can apply to a variety of health and wellness businesses. If you’re on the fence, we encourage you to apply and describe your business on the application form so we can ensure the course will support your specific business and goals.
Are there other things I’ll need to buy to get my site launched?
You’ll need to purchase a domain, and we recommend you sign up for, at a minimum, a scheduling tool and email marketing platform. We provide recommendations for these tools within the course; some of these can be used for free, or for a monthly subscription.
Do I need to purchase hosting or worry about maintaining/securing my site after it’s launched?

Nope! We have you covered there. We will be setting up your site on our hosting platform and maintenance system (joining 30+ nutrition businesses who happily have their sites hosted and maintained by us!). You’ll get 3 month’s access for free when you sign up for the course. After 3 months, you’ll be billed $65/month for us to continue to host and maintain your site.

Specifically, this service includes:

  • Managed WordPress hosting
  • Daily website updates (WordPress core, themes, plugins)
  • Daily Backups and monitoring
  • Daily Uptime scans and monitoring
  • Daily Security scans and monitoring
  • Website restore if your website goes down
    Weekly reports of updates performed, backups performed, and results of uptime and security scans
  • Email-based support for small site questions/projects (up to 15 minutes per month)
  • For larger questions, troubleshooting, or updates that exceed 15 minutes, billed at $125/hour (we always give you an estimate and get your approval before work is started!)
How long do I have access to the course?
How does “for life” sound? You’ll be able to access the course modules, community, templates, and any new content we add to the course for the lifetime of the course. You can even continue to join the Q&A sessions after your 4-week course cohort is over.
